Unfortunately I have had a terrible experience with what should have been a very simple purchase.

On the 1st January I purchased an item online (from their ebay shop) and paid immediately (manganese A-Series valve guide). After a 2 week wait I received cast iron valve guide.

I contacted them and they insisted I sent back the cast iron guide before they could send me the correct manganese guide.

"Hi, as my previous msg i am sorry for the confusion in the listing, i still offer to send you a bronze guide but i need the guide back for measurements if this is acceptable i can machine and send out the day i receive it."

Apparently they don't have the measurements for an A-Series valve guide (one of the most commonly modified engines in history) and needed the cast iron guide to take measurements off. Obviously they sent me the only 1 A-Series guide that they had in stock...

Anyway, I returned the guide and expected a quick turnaround as per their email.

To this day I still have not received the guide. The company have refunded me £7.49 - when they refunded me they told me this was a gesture of goodwill and the manganese guide was in the post.

I am not claiming to be financially out of pocket but have lost a lot of time being lied to and fobbed off.

This has been going on for over 2 months for literally a couple of quids worth of valve guide.

Last promised delivery date was last Tuesday - apparently the snow that arrived 2 days after that has meant that the post-office has lost I (despite me already receiving 2 other items purchased last week)

My warning with this company is that:

They are clearly happy to waste their own customers time
They are clearly happy to lie repeatedly
By their own admission they are selling products they don't know how to manufacture (not knowing sizes of common A-Series engine parts)

I recommend that you look elsewhere.

Well, it's only fair to add an update. Finally 9 weeks after payment I received my valve guide. Probably just a coincidence that it was posted Royal Mail 1st Class and arrived the day after my original review...

So to conclude. I got messed around a bit, pretty sure I was fobbed off a bit, taken a long time but I have received the item and as a good will gesture I got a refund for the original purchase.

I'm going to change from 1* to 2*. I obviously won't be rushing to use them again, but I guess if you have lots of customers every now and again problems like this might occur.

    You pays your money......
